About this app

FoodLog - Your Smart Food Diary for Intolerances and Gut Health

The perfect app for people dealing with IBS, acid reflux, histamine intolerance, lactose or gluten intolerance. Document your diet, symptoms, and health with advanced AI support.

With our app, you can track not only breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks but also symptoms, medications, and other vital health information. Adding photos to each meal or symptom makes your food log even more informative. For users on regular medications, our app offers continuous interval tracking, allowing you to enter your medication just once and receive reminders if desired.

In the “Other” category, you can document everything from notes and daily activities to bowel movements, with support from the Bristol Stool Chart for a precise record of your digestive health. You can also log your stress levels and physical activity, creating a comprehensive entry for our AI to analyze, helping you gain deeper insights into the effects of your diet on your well-being.

One standout feature is our weekly health report, delivered every Sunday with a detailed overview of your eating habits, most frequent symptoms, and personalized recommendations. Based on your entries, you’ll receive not only customized dietary tips but can also generate recipes tailored to your specific needs, intolerances, and preferences.

Our app also includes an extensive intolerance management tool, allowing you to document your sensitivities with details such as diagnosis, severity, symptoms, and treatment methods. This information directly enhances our AI-supported analyses and recipe suggestions.

The app’s export feature makes it easy to save your food log as a PDF or CSV file or print it, with adjustable image sizes, simplifying sharing your records with a nutritionist or dietary expert. Our cloud backup feature lets you securely store and restore your data anytime, while the eye-friendly Dark Mode offers a comfortable experience for users who prefer logging entries in the evening.

With our app, you’re not just getting a simple food diary; you’re gaining a comprehensive nutritional coach to support your journey toward a healthier life. From building a detailed food log to identifying connections between your diet and health symptoms, and providing tailored dietary tips and recipes – our app is the key to better understanding and managing your diet and health.

Good enough for tracking food and symptoms without worrying about calorie counting. Not a fan of the AI stuff but I guess it is what it is. Would really appreciate a "dessert" option when listing what kind of meal you are eating. Edit -- Thanks to the developers for responding! Sorry that the response is no longer visible, it seems that editing the review deleted it.

Thanks for your feedback! We’re glad you find the app useful for tracking food and symptoms. We understand that AI isn’t for everyone, and we always aim to make features optional where possible. A “dessert” option is a great suggestion—we’ll definitely consider adding it in a future update! Let us know if you have any other ideas.

Updates are not helpful. All I needed was a simple log for food and the text box has changed to make it more difficult, the reminder streaks are not important, just annoying. It's always had the problem of not saving what you write unless you hit enter from gkeyboard, and then checkmark at the top which is always out of sight. All I need is to log food triggers, so I'll be getting a different app.

Sorry to hear that. I’m working alone on this app and really appreciate your honest feedback – even if it’s tough to read. A simpler input flow is coming in the next update. All the best on your journey, and I hope you find the right app for your needs.

this app was fantastic when it was simple. but later updates are introducing more bugs and features I don't need to click through a screen to congratulate me on my streak when all I want to do is enter my food to keep track of it. on top of that I'm finding more and more bugs where it's making it harder to even enter logs. the latest, and what triggered me to write this, is it's giving me an error saying I have to input the time in a certain way, when it's the app's weird scrolling time input
