Segway Mobility

The lock screen interface doesn't follow language settings and is in Chinese, which sucks and is the main reason for 3 stars. It also interferes with music players on the lock screen. Otherwise it works well and does what you need it to easily, including locking, changing some settings of the scooter, trip tracking/mileage, stats on the scooter and battery, firmware updates, and a segway-only social platform that can be fun if you want to ride with other people and maybe make some friends.

Bluetooth connection is the pain point. When not connecting for a while I often need to reset the app to re-establish the connection, as the app reports timeout while the scooter says connected. Also, I cannot connect Bluetooth if the mobile signal is not working. Activating flight mode allows me to connect, but it's terribly annoying. In general, Bluetooth management is made very badly

I bought the Ninebot E2 Pro and was super excited until I opened the box and had to pair the scooter. It kept saying unable to find it with Bluetooth, I even scanned the QR code and couldn't find it. I uninstalled, reinstalled, called best buy for troubling shooting help, and restarted my phone. After hours of frustration and building anger, I've decided this isn't worth my anger and frustration. Thanks to the frustrating set up process I am re- boxing the scooter and returning for a refund.
