i have never reviewed a damn thing on this app store, but in the year of 2025, this app has no ads, no music, no purchases, and is entirely offline. i truly appreciate the integrity of the developer, and i went out of my way to leave a review, as there arent any pop-ups asking you to. the tutorials and challenges are simple, clear, really got me from zero to adding five digit numbers. i havent done this much math since high school, and im thoroughly enjoying it.

Exactly what I was looking for: a clean and linear app. I have been seriously learning how a Soroban works. Thx, man. Really appreciated. 👍 As further options I would suggest 1) to add a flag to enable/disable the underlining of the intermediate result, 2) to add harder challenges (1 for each rod), 3) to add weighted averages and/or graphs to understand improvements if any, when compared to the past. Thx again! Excellent!! 👊👏🙋🏻♂️

It is as the name implies: a soroban (Japanese abacus), and works effectively as one. There's no excessive visual nor sound, not even online highscore, and those helps in streamlining the experience of practicing. Some challenges are available, also predetermined drills are abundant. Finally, there's randomized problems with customizations, making it a long-term companion for practicing arithmetic.
