With this new update, the computer English voice that was used previously seems to no longer exist. This threw me off, as I've been using this app and that voice since I started a few years ago, when it only had an English and Spanish voice setting option. Aside from that, when the sentence ends in a " quotation mark. It reads "quote," and it's a little distracting, especially if you are listening to written text with a lot of dialogue that ends in "". Overall, still my app of choice.

I use it on Chromebook, if one does anything else while its reading it stops reading. It doesn't leave off where one last was when adding more test to read; thus one has to scroll through it again and again. It doesn't transfer text into mp3 like Balbodka (I can't spell in Russian). The play store doesn't carry that text reader, if ever does, get it as it is the very best reader. With my reading disabilities Text Reader has improved my quality of life..

I ask an AI app to write a beginner Spanish story on a topic that I choose. Then I paste it into this app and listen with the US Spanish voice 9. I have it on 0.5 speed and assume I'll increase that as my listening improves. I'm doing this as one part of the Comprehensible Input (CI) language learning method. The app is great but could have little improvements like an instant preview of the voices and the ability to listen to a selection of the text or to start reading from the cursor position.
